Institutional plays very important roles for farming communities, because farmers could obtain information related to farming through a farmer's institutional. The information covers input information, production process, up to farming output. An institutional development along with its elements within has strong linkages with cultural values and information access easiness. The objectives of the research was to identify roles of rice farmer’s institutional in Banjarnegara District and relationship of cultural values and access to information with the dynamics of the farmer’s institutional. The research was conducted in Banjarnegara District, Central Java Province with 60 respondents. The respondents were divided into administrators and members of the rice farmer’s institutional. Data comprised of primary and secondary data, and descriptive analysis and inferential statistical analysis (Spearman rank correlation) were applied in the research.
